To become a participant in NDIS, you need to satisfy the following criteria.
- Your age must be between 7 and 65
- Should be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or protected Special Category visa holder.
- Must be residing in Australia.
- Must have a permanent and significant disability caused by permanent impairment.
- Difficulty in performing daily tasks like daily living, socialising or engaging in work or education
After the plan gets approval, you need to choose your service provider. When selecting your service provider, it is necessary to cross-check whether the person satisfies your requirements. Your planner or the local area coordinator will issue an access code for accessing the NDIS plan through the NDIS participant portal on the myGov website. In this section, you will get all the information related to NDIS, including budget and service bookings.
